Merry Christmas and a happy new year!also =) That would be awesome you have got a really charming style, I'm the same I've been working on a childrens book in my head and I'm planning on illustrating it. Normally I prefer writing darker stories but I've been captured by this idea recently. What would be your ideal book to ever illustrate? =)

My ideal book to illustrate? That's a difficult question, because I have a big passion for literature and I get impressed by different stories. I would mostly love to illustrate stories that have strong impact on my feelings. And such stories can be found in both children's and adults' books. I think the most important thing about the good illustration is the atmosphere it creates. The artwork should not just enhance the feeling you get by reading, but also make you believe that the world, created by the writer is real :) I would love to work with ink, pencil and in other graphic ways, but I also like working in color. I have always wanted to work on illustrations that remind me of the charming atmosphere of the drawings from the old books, but I would definetely want to give them a modern look. I like drawings that have depth and atmosphere. :)
